Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

To provide competent instrument and electrical engineering work for contract execution and proposal preparation of the Company's plant contracting business.
To function as a member of a team, and at often times, in individual assignments.ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical specifications and incorporate process data for process control instrumentation, working in coordination with the Process Engineers.
Coordinate with the Procurements team to acquire quotations from various suppliers, and conduct careful and thorough evaluation of the selected equipment related to Instrumentation, Automation Control System & Electrical Starter Panel.
Check and verify technical specifications against equipment related to Instrumentation, Automation Control System & Electrical Starter Panel to be procured and ensure all contractual requirements are met.
Conduct functional test during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on Automation Control System panels and Electrical Starter panels prior to shipment to ensure its functionality.
Conduct physical inspections and quality check of all instruments procured upon its delivery to ensure the right specifications are met.
Supervise and provide instructions on the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and to participate in the commissioning of process plants and respective auxiliary equipment to ensure its specified performance.
Compile operating manual & certification for project documentation.
Involve in HAZOP study being a team member.
Collect operating data pertaining to the characteristics or performance of equipment related to the Instrumentation, Automation Control System & Electrical Starter Panels during commissioning of the plant.
Responsible to comply with the Group's and Company's Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and safe work procedures.
Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned.
Required qualificationsBachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience of 1 years is required with field instruments or relevant working experience; preferably experienced with Pressure, Temperature, Level Transmitter, Flow Instruments & Control Valves.
Fresh graduate with good academic result will be considered.
Fair knowledge in instrumentation & control system for automated process plant.
Fair knowledge in low voltage electrical system including motor and motor controls, protection system and familiar with relevant engineering standards.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Able to follow through on assignments with supervision.
