Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and direct all activities of Electrical & Instrumentation personnel to ensure maximum utilization of resources to ensure good support to meet production and operational goals.Responsible for servicing, calibrating, repairing and maintenance of chiller, telephone system, air-conditioning, weighbridge, lighting and PLC Control System.Maintain proper records of all electrical and instrument servicing, inspection calibration repair and maintenance work and have such records/register made available for perusal if required. To assist the Head of the Department in compiling data, and reports and in the maintenance of ISO9001:2015.To compile data and reports on electricity consumption and plant downtime arising from electrical & instrumentation problems.To draw up preventive maintenance policies and schedules for all electrical equipment and instruments.To mobilize manpower to support the plant's equipment installation, modifications, repairs and start-ups.JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of working experience.Knowledgeable in PLC Control Systems.Knowledgeable in plant instrument / electrical equipment.Experience in SAP system would be an added advantage.
