From simple product customization up to substantial technical challenges, you will have to deal with multiple interlocutors within an international and multi-cultural environment.Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Other duties may be assigned.Develop products according to HID's product development process.
Follow tasks and timelines.Design RFID antennas and transponder products and optimize for manufacturing.Run RF/electrical simulations on new product requirements and ideas.Design testing devices for the development of new transponder products.Align HID's measurements and analysis capabilities with customer/partner requirements based on international standards.Support manufacturing engineering and production in setting up a process control for maintaining correct performance on volume products.Research new technologies for antennas, transponders, and packaging.Perform analysis of competitor products and benchmark them versus HID products.Define test procedures and qualification plans for the new products in collaboration with the Test Engineering team.Make the project/product risk assessment; evaluate costs, planning and alternatives.Conduct technical review meetings with different parties/stakeholders involved in a project.Set up new products including BOM and documents (product specifications and technical product requirements) in HID's global collaboration tool.Ensure all activities within their area of control are conducted in compliance with environmental control procedures and do not create unnecessary environmental impacts.Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental operational controls and applicable legal and other requirements.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
