Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)
Candidate is required to have all the required professional certifications as stated below:
Academic:Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Professional Certifications:
Minimum charge man L1 for LV system
Minimum charge man H1 for HV system
Maximum HV voltage is 33kV and 6.6k
The certifications are issued by the Director of Electricity Supply of Electrical Inspectorate Unit for State of Sarawak.
Relevant Protection Relay Testing & Calibration experience in Oil & Gas:Minimum 3 years' experience in protection relay testing and calibration in oil & gas or utilities industry.
Responsibilities:
Perform installation of cabling, support, glanding, termination, etc.
Perform installation of any related cable way and support.
Perform installation of Head Tracing circuit, accessories and termination work.
Troubleshooting and resolving any electrical-related issues.
Perform routine maintenance and fixes on electrical equipment.
Perform inspections on electrical devices and machinery.
Log all services and report progress to superior.
Has good knowledge of the following maintenance activities:
Gas turbine and diesel generators
Transformers
High voltage (6.6kV) distributions system covering circuit breakers, switchgears and control equipment
Low voltage switchgears and distribution boards
LV cable jointing, cable glanding and cable termination
Batteries and chargers
Earthing system and installation
UPS
Carry out various types of testing on electrical equipment
Use of electrical meters
Basic corrective maintenance of Ex equipment
Safe practice of electrical isolation in accordance with SSB/SSPC's/Petronas Electrical Safety Rules
