Job DescriptionElectronics• Understanding of existing platforms, evaluate and select electronics platform for use in power tool applications from a wide variety of technical disciplines.• Independently develop hardware specification document on the functional requirements of a product.• Improve existing hardware design based on technical requirements.• Develop/ improve technical solutions in cooperation with the project team members independently.• Independently develop and maintain circuit design for different product.• Independently create and maintain technical documentation.• Independently perform functional test of test-unit.• Independently validate and do essential improvements to the electronics to pass Bosch internal qualification.• Independently prepare essential technical documents for electronics/ tool certification.• Follow the project schedule according product development process.• Support line and warranty teams for electronic device changes and updates.• Ensure all documents are up-to-date based on engineering change (EC) requests.• Apply all processes according to valid PT and Bosch procedures published in BGN.• Apply a manufacturing mind set to designs in order to effectively and efficiently mass produce products while using expertise to elevate the entire team.• Support and take over special tasks on section and department level as assigned by the superior.Motor• Independently assist / improve technical solutions in cooperation with the project team members.• Independently assist/ improve with development of designs and processes to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve quality according to project objectives.• Collaboration of counterpart and provide cost estimates during in development projects.• Understanding of existing motor platforms, evaluate and select motor platform for use in power tool applications from a wide variety of technical disciplines.• Independently create and maintain technical documentation.• Follow the project schedule according product development process.• Support line and warranty teams for motor device changes and updates.• Ensure all documents are up-to-date based on engineering change (EC) requests.• Apply all processes according to valid PT and Bosch procedures published in BGN.• Apply a manufacturing mind set to designs in order to effectively and efficiently mass produce products while using expertise to elevate the entire team.• Support and take over special tasks on section and department level as assigned by the superior.QualificationsBachelor or Master Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.At least 5 years of experience in a related area, hardware development for consumer goods, household appliances, automotive or industrial applications, motor control design applications, EC/DCnmotor process/design field.Exposure to electronics circuit design, especially embedded design and motor process design.Motor control, Li-ion battery charging and discharging and software coding experience are preferred.PCB design and schematic design experience (Altium Designer or other EDA tools, >3 year continuously).Understanding of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) process, IPC standard.Knowledge about the power topology to drive the DC brushed and DC brushless motorProfound Knowledge about the electronics components for motor driving, ( resistor, capacitor, signal/ power diode, transistor, power MOSFET, MOSFET driver IC), understanding the parameter.Understanding EMC/ EMI/ ESD and take related measures in design.Skilled to use multi-meter, oscilloscope, etc.
