Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking anElectronic & Modules Data Specialistto join our Global Direct Procurement team, where you will report directly to the Team Lead - Sourcing Engineering and Support.
Your main responsibilities include managing data for electronics components and electrical modules in the main systems (SAP and Teamcenter) for the Electronics & Modules business. You will also assist in the development and implementation of the Master Data Management strategy.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop KPI and reports to illustrate the Electronics & Modules assortment.
Propose and develop improved reports and offer better/nicer overviews.
Automatize the preparation of data and reports.
Place and implement mass changes in SAP and Teamcenter.
Ensure very high quality of the global master data for operations in close collaboration with the engineering and sourcing teams worldwide.Proactive execution of monthly checks, update missing or wrong data in Teamcenter and SAP.
Ensure correctness/completeness of electronics and electrical part attributes, datasheets, images, etc. in Teamcenter.
Ensure Teamcenter and SAP are always synchronized.Lead projects for part count reductions: analyze the potential regularly, push units for approvals and deactivate parts at global and unit levels.
Maintain close cooperation with R&D, Sourcing Engineers, and Data Governance teams.
Support engineering, sourcing, and compliance teams in defining or maintaining master data, catalogs, or guidelines.Act as surrogate/deputy for some electronics and electrical categories.
Act as local support for supply chain or quality issues (incoming inspection, FAI for PCBs, etc.).Ensure availability of the Component Information System (CIS+). Administrate users, train new users.
Manage PCN (Part Change Notifications) and EOL (End of Life) processes for the sourcing engineers.
Provide inputs for continuous improvement of work, tools, and environment.
What You Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar educational and/or professional backgrounds.
Experience with electronics components and electrical modules.
Structured and very accurate way of working.
Independent and self-responsible.
Flexible way of working (tasks and time).
Proficient user of MS Office and IT savvy in general.
Basic knowledge of SAP ECC, Teamcenter, Accuris BOM Intelligence are a plus.
Good English communication skills (spoken and written) and willingness to work in an international environment. German and Chinese language skills are a plus.
