(ELM) Talent Supervisor in Instructional DesignThe Talent Supervisor in Instructional Design is responsible for supervising and supporting a team of Instructional Designers, overseeing project management, and providing instructional design expertise. This role bridges project oversight with talent development, focusing on training, talent outsourcing, and consultancy services to meet organizational and client needs within a consultancy-focused environment. The individual is expected to lead instructional design projects, develop training programs, and ensure alignment with the company's transition toward consulting services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Supervision and Development:
Supervise and support the instructional design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Conduct instructional design training sessions for internal and external talents and client training programs to upskill instructional design competencies.
Project Management:
Lead and oversee instructional design services, ensuring timely and quality completion.
Manage timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for ongoing services, adapting plans as necessary to align with client requirements and consulting standards.
Consulting and Client Support:
Act as an instructional design consultant, supporting clients in enhancing their learning and development capabilities.
Provide outsourced instructional design talent services as needed by clients, ensuring a high standard of support and expertise in line with consulting objectives.
Instructional Design Excellence:
Oversee content creation by ensuring all training materials and eLearning solutions meet quality and instructional standards.
Stay current with instructional design trends and technologies, integrating best practices and innovative methods to enhance learning solutions and services.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
Conduct initial quality assurance reviews for instructional design services, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, company standards, and client expectations.
Implement process improvements and support team professional development to keep pace with the evolving needs of a consultancy-oriented instructional design service.

QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Linguistics/Languages or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, with supervisory or consulting experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
In-depth knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, and eLearning technologies. Eg. Bloom taxonomy, SAM, ADDIE etc.
Exceptional language skills in English, with Malay and Mandarin being an added advantage.
Exceptional visual design skills and ability to create engaging, interactive learning experiences.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and clients effectively.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and support a team within a consultancy-based model.
Proficiency in authoring tools and learning management systems. Eg. Articulate Software, Camtasia, Vyond, video recording solutions, LMS, Media Server, etc.
