About the roleWe are seeking a talented ELV Technician to join our team at WLTECH Solutions PLT in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As an ELV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low-voltage electrical systems within our clients' facilities. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development.
What you'll be doing
Install, configure, and test low-voltage electrical systems such as security, CCTV, and access control systems
Diagnose and repair issues with existing ELV systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions
Maintain detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
Participate in regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
What we're looking for
Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 2 years of experience as an ELV Technician, preferably in the Trades & Services industry
Strong understanding of ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, and access control technologies
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
