Key Responsibilities:Fire Protection System Management:Design, implement, and maintain fire protection systems, including fire alarm, sprinkler, gas suppression, and emergency lighting systems.
Ensure that all fire protection systems are functional, up to code, and regularly tested.
Oversee fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems to ensure proper installation and maintenance.Emergency Response & Incident Management:Respond quickly and efficiently to fire emergencies, assessing situations and implementing necessary actions to contain or extinguish the fire.
Coordinate emergency responses and ensure the safety of personnel during fire-related incidents.
Conduct post-incident investigations to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.Fire Safety Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire protection regulations and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA, local fire codes).
Perform regular fire risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and incident reports.Training & Fire Drills:Develop and deliver fire safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Conduct regular fire drills and simulate emergency scenarios to ensure preparedness.
Educate staff on fire protection systems, emergency procedures, and evacuation plans.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation of fire protection system maintenance, inspections, and emergency responses.
Prepare reports on fire safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations for senior management.
Track compliance with fire safety regulations and report on improvements or deficiencies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in fire protection system design, installation, and emergency response.
Experience in working in data centers is highly preferable.
In-depth knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, OSHA).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Experience with fire system testing, inspections, and risk assessments.
Strong communication skills in Chinese and English for training and reporting.
