Details of the offer

**Job Description**:- Responsible for all disciplinary, grievances and Labor & Ethic cases- Execute and ensure effective implementation of the industrial relations related policies- Monitor and implement guidelines provided by the local authorities and customers- Lead investigation and provide IR policies or procedures guidance- To be the point of contact for employee and industrial relations matters for employees and people managers- Ensure audit readiness for labors & ethics, legal compliance matters- Drive and facilitate managers and supervisors in managing attendance related cases- Assist in organizing the pulse check on direct labor, technician and any other support group- Establish and conduct people manager's training module and other training sessions in relation to employee and industrial relations- Conduct investigation on grievance cases and ensure all the cases are amicably settled- Conduct personal and group counselling- Provides advice and management of the Code of Business Conduct- Manage employee performance improvement program- Prepare weekly employee and industrial relation reports- Other duties as assigned**Qualifications**:- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant discipline- Minimum 5-8 years of direct working exposure in similar capacity and multicultural company background- PREFERENCE:- Exposure to RBA Labor Compliance will be an added advantage- Capable to spearhead, drive, coordinate HR projects & events- Self driven and strong ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision in IR execution and decision- SKILL:- Microsoft Office, employment related acts, influencing skill- Strong employee's communication background- Significant experience in data analysis (minimum intermediate Excel level)- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Good problem solving ability, interpersonal and relationship building skills- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees- Good proficiency in English and Malay language as message to employee has to be clear and easy to understand- Creative ability to devise communication strategies Digital skills: Familiarity with information technology, technological savvy especially digital and video means of communication- Possesses strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skillsAdditional InformationWestern Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
