Job Description We are looking for an experienced Category Manager, with at least 5 years prior experience in managing Global EMS suppliers.
The responsibilities of the EMS Category Manager includes but not limited to :Execution of the Global EMS StrategyOverall EMS suppliers management, including suppliers relationships ownershipRFQ exercise, cost negotiations and project awardsContract negotiationsEscalation point for internal operation teamsOn-going drive for cost improvement and annual cost reduction#LI-WL1Basic RequirementsIn order to be successful, the candidate has to have: Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain or any related field/Minimum 5 years prior experience and proven track records in managing Global EMS suppliers.Effective problem solving skills, strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills with proven ability to work with people from various levels and functions.Strong data analysis skills and good understanding in forecasting methods.High proficiency in MS Office / Google Documents; specifically, advance MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Prior project management experience will be an added advantageEnergetic, Positive, and a Team Player personality.Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.#LI-WL1Travel RequirementsUnder 10%Relocation ProvidedNonePosition TypeExperiencedReferral Payment PlanNoEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
