Department OverviewThe Product Procurement Team works with the Business, Engineering, Supply Chain and other critical functional teams to create and execute the product outsourcing strategy. The team sources and manages a pool of qualified suppliers to support and enable our business outsourcing needs.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Category Manager, with at least 3 - 5 years prior experience in managing Global EMS suppliers. The responsibilities of the EMS Category Manager include but are not limited to:
Execution of the Global EMS Strategy
Overall EMS suppliers management, including suppliers relationships ownership
RFQ exercise, cost negotiations and project awards
Contract negotiations
Escalation point for internal operation teams
On-going drive for cost improvement and annual cost reduction
Basic RequirementsIn order to be successful, the candidate has to have:
Minimum qualification of Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain or any related field
3-5 years prior experience and proven track records in managing Global EMS suppliers.
Effective problem solving skills, strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills with proven ability to work with people from various levels and functions.
Strong data analysis skills and good understanding in forecasting methods.
High proficiency in MS Office / Google Documents; specifically, advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Prior project management experience will be an added advantage
Energetic, Positive, and a Team Player personality.
