Description Job Title: Engineer, Customized SolutionsWe are looking for an Engineer who can research and gather information, generate creative design solutions and evaluate the overall relative value of concepts, ideas and designs in support of special customer solutions. The successful candidate will be a proficient Creo user, with the ability to create complex models and utilize other computer applications and software. They will understand and be able to maneuver through various processes of order fulfill from manufacturing to distribution.Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and apply mechanical design principles, mechanical properties, material science, manufacturing processes and procedures, and tooling considerations as they relate to the mechanical design of a special product solution, including aesthetic design intent in special product solutions.Apply and improve appropriate standards and protocol that govern the Steelcase design process.Apply understanding of Steelcase processes, products, standards and information systems.Effectively impart technical information with all audiences through written, pictorial, and oral communications.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing, and production processes.Well-versed in Creo and other computer applications and software.Ability to communicate technical information effectively to all audiences.Fresh graduates are encouraged to applyIf you are a highly analytical individual with superior attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, we want to hear from you.
