Works with Production, Engineering and related department to solve quality issues that occur in the AE process and customer side, coordinate quality improvement activities in AE both for manufacturing process and product quality, ensure process ability and product quality meets AE standard and customer's requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control manufacturing process and monitor quality performance both internal & external, review quality data with related persons regularly.
Coordinate quality improvement activities for process stability and product quality, implement process audits and hold quality meetings, etc.
Handle quality issues that occur in AE process and customer side, implement containment actions, investigate the root cause, follow up corrective actions and respond to related persons/departments, and Product Hold process follow up.
Set up process management plan for each product and ensure it is understood and followed.
Guide related persons such as operators and inspectors on quality standards and workmanship standards understanding.
Collect and analyze data, and drive improvement with data.
Manage equipment calibration, maintain intranet database, and control work environment for ESD and cleanroom of manufacturing plant.
Implement First Article Inspection and submit results to customers as needed.
Follow up on new product transfer actions.
Support the Quality System setup and maintenance.
Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies, and general duty of care.
Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (Telephone, PC, etc.).
Needs to go to the production area frequently.
Works in a fast-paced manufacturing/lab environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
English communication skills in verbal and written form.
Problem-solving skills, able to coordinate persons from different departments for quick resolution of quality issues.
Data analysis ability, able to identify potential quality issues as early as possible.
Knowledge of basic quality tools and quality improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, etc.
Creative ability, technical skill, and independent judgment ability.
PC skills, can properly present quality issues and reports using Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to follow equipment calibration requirements and processes.
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements and internal auditor certification is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of ESD & Cleanroom practices.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in process quality control or engineering, preferably with knowledge of electronic product manufacturing processes.
Preferred candidates should be familiar with manual soldering & SMT background.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering is preferred, or college graduation with five years work experience.
