Job descriptions: To drive continuous optimization of machining processes to reduce cycle times and improve overall efficiency.To collaborate with production and quality control teams to address recurring quality issues by implementing Poka-Yoka (error-proofing) techniques.To translate customer drawings into detailed engineering drawings, ensuring proper specification limits are set for each job.To establish job routings, calculate required machining times, and determine material need for every order received.Tp provide support to the sales team to ensure cost-effective solutions for each job.To design specialized tools, jigs, and fixtures to enable effective and efficient production execution.To regularly review and optimize CNC programs to ensure efficiency, minimize unnecessary tool movements, and reduce cycle times.To create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including setup sheets, tool lists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) such as Engineering Change Control.To lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.To collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, planning, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production flow and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.To ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, such as Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).To research and propose innovative tooling, materials, and process improvements to enhance machining performance and production output.To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager as required.
Requirements:Skilled in CNC Programming, CAD/CAM Software, GD&T for precision machining, tooling design and lean manufacturing.Ability to quickly identify issues and develop effective solutions.Qualification in a technical diploma in precision machining or manufacturing with substantial relevant experience (7+ years) or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.3 to 5 years of relevant experience in precision machining, CNC Programming, process optimization, or manufacturing engineering and tooling design.
