Job Description: The Role: Leads manufacturing activities associated with new and continuous improvement process. Follows established product procedures and recommends process improvements when appropriate. Conducts and interprets engineering analysis to verify process manufacturability and performance of existing new and derivative products. Develops and updates manufacturing improvement plans and schedules. Ensures improvement planned to be documented and properly filed and updated monthly. Holds manufacturing improvement project team members accountable for timely completion of assigned tasks and activities. Regularly communicates with Cell Manager on all aspects of manufacturing improvement activities. Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Follows standard Engineering and Technology practices and procedures (Kaizen, Lean Sigma, etc.). Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization. Participates in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction. Product transfer/start-up activities and ensure the transfer/star-up is successful within the prescribed time and up to date. Adhere to all safety procedures including wearing all required protective equipment. Ensure highest possible product quality & adherence to Entegris's Quality System, other standards. Lead the development, execution, and revision of the assigned manufacturing process FMEA, Control Plans Traits we believe make a strong candidate. Perform Specification review functions and implementation associated with inquiries and project work under guidance and direction of the lead engineer and/or manager. Knowledge of machine processes & experience in high volume manufacturing desirable Ability to coordinate projects including project analyses and reporting. Ability to report information professionally, effectively, in a structured and concise format. Excellent verbal and written communication skills In this role you will: Responsible for planning, development and implementation of methods, processes, and automation techniques, for new and existing processes and products. Develop process control system and good manufacturing practices for assembly processes. Direct involvement in solving technical problems and debugging of products or processes. Demonstrates the use of the basic 6 sigma problem solving tools and the DMAIC process. Establish documentation for new specialized equipment, including operating instructions, troubleshooting guides, safety procedures, spare parts list and recommended preventive maintenance. Familiar with the equipment general operation and be able to review the settings, connections, verify the problem, and be able to correct or identify the root cause of the equipment problems. Familiar and understanding of the various SPC charts and controls. Able to identify process abnormality and feedback to production and corresponding process owner (advantage to have) Perform other duties as assigned.Traits we believe make a strong candidate: Degree in Engineering (preferably Manufacturing/Manufacturing) Basic 6 Sigma certification (Green Belt) with ability to perform analysis with Minitab. Advanced use of FMEA & 8D problem solving a major advantage.
