We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia. Responsible for engineering, design, and modifications related to mechanical equipment, vessels, tanks, and piping systems, including the development of equipment and piping specifications and handling of procurement processes. May also support the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. This role includes expertise in air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, combustion, heat transfer, energy, power, fuels, propulsion, machinery, tools, manufacturing, fluid dynamics, plumbing, fire suppression systems, and water supply and pumping systems for fire protection.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes specific, limited portions of broader assignments under the direction of an experienced engineer.
Collects and organizes fundamental engineering data following established procedures.
Engages in routine engineering tasks involving calculations and basic testing.
Proposes solutions for new issues that arise.
Identifies and addresses discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.
Works within agreed-upon budget and schedule, with moderate supervision.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required for this opportunity.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, principles, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform complex calculations and conduct engineering tests.
Experience in gathering and correlating engineering data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and think creatively in engineering solutions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
