Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) / Engineer

Responsibilities:
To support the Marine Warranty Services department in all aspects of the function, including:
Document review (engineering and procedure related to onshore, offshore and subsea construction).
Site attendance (Onshore and Offshore).
Vessel Inspection (Suitability Survey, Conditional Survey, Onhire and Offhire Survey).
Provide a pro-active approach to QSHE issues.
Based in Sarawak, Malaysia and reporting to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office and willingness to travel mainly within the APAC region to support the APAC team and possibility of overseas assignment to support other GM offices.
Qualification and Experience:
Possess bachelor's degree qualification in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Maritime Technology or related discipline.
1-3 years of experience with offshore construction and offshore operations.
Experience and knowledge in Marine Warranty Services is preferred but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
Mature candidates with strong analytical aptitude, team leadership qualities and good project management/marketing skills will be considered for future managerial positions.
Familiar with Safety and Quality policies.
Requirements:
Knowledge of offshore marine operations and/or vessel surveys / inspection.
Have excellent Microsoft Office skills especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Be able to work both independently and in a small team.
