ResponsibilitiesAdminister and resolve all technical maintenance issues.
Daily inspection for factory and building office maintenance.
Daily plant production equipment maintenance support.
Handle timely equipment maintenance schedules by adopting a preventive and predictive maintenance strategy within maintenance expenditure budget.
Lead projects and equipment upgrading.
Participate in the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of new or repaired equipment.
Prepare efficient preventive maintenance programs/schedules for all production operations and assist in installation and maintenance of all machines and tools.
Consult with vendors on technical purchases and servicing works.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize various equipment that drive processes and product improvement while maintaining a strong safety and environmental compliance focus.
Evaluate and ensure that the equipment which is installed or repaired is 100% functional.
Lead/participate in the troubleshooting of process and equipment troubles/abnormalities and select/recommend a logical course of action based on established principles and standards.
Ensure that the maintenance agreements are renewed yearly.
Execute the development of safety and health documentation.
Execute the safety and health program and promote a safe work culture.
Ensure the implementation of safety and health inspection and audit programs.
Function as the company representative for safety and environmental audits.
Collaborate with various departments to maintain the mechanical integrity of all plant programs.
Responsible for all Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) issues and activities of the company in compliance with local regulations such as Department Safety & Health (DOSH), Department of Environmental (DOE), TNB Department, and Fire Services Department.
Skills and Knowledge RequiredCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent.
Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry in a plant supervisory position.
Well-versed in ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and social audit requirements.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Well-versed in preventive maintenance knowledge with hands-on experience in plant maintenance, including air compressors, pumps, motors, valves, etc., and assist in troubleshooting machinery when needed.
Desire to grow, take on new responsibilities, and establish yourself on our team while working independently.
Strong leadership qualities to lead a team of technicians.
Strong organizational and planning abilities with hands-on experience.
Familiarity with the Occupational Safety & Health Act.
Experience in 5S housekeeping and ISO 9001:2008 would be an added advantage.
