JOB PURPOSE To assist, plan and maintain: Good practices of assembly operation in TKAD to ensure continuance of producing Shockstar in time and cost-effective ways while keeping highest safety and product quality standard at any time. To sustain the plant requirements that contributes to achievement of overall Plant Strategic Plan and Operational Excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production Analyze raw material stock level by considering forecast provided by Sales and Export team. Data gathering to understand pattern of each Shockstar ordering. Ensure raw materials are available prior production start by clearing all transaction in SAP. Conduct proper raw material monitoring includes stock movement and storing capacity within safe standard. Record, track and transfer physical copy of inventory transactions (raw materials, packing materials, etc) into SAP system daily. Ensure SAP system is updated in a timely manner to avoid any inconsistency with physical count of raw materials. Liaising with other members of different departments of any updates to SAP with regards to Inventory, Purchasing, Sales (Local), Sales (Export) and Supply Chain. Ensure all relevant documentation are well kept and in order in compliance ISO requirements. Processing order received from Sales and Export department. Prepare and review Packing List required for exporting Finish Products to meet demands of overseas customers and legal requirements. Evaluating, develop and modify production schedule with consideration of machine capacity and manpower capacity. Provide daily updates on Finished Goods produced in SAP by transferring data from daily production record into system. Maintain good performance in production by monitoring the productivity and plant efficiency Observe and evaluate the progress of production and completion of tasks to optimize the plant capacity and work efficiently. Manage operators work arrangement and delegate tasks on daily basis to ensure targets are achieved. Conduct daily briefing/toolbox meeting to all staffs on production details, update on any relevant information and reminder of adherence towards safety practices to mitigate error and unsafe practices. Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards. Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities. Gathering production data that includes production output, manhours, overtime and material consumed for the production monthly report and submitted to the Plant Manager Ensuring maintenance of the machines are managed accordingly to avoid interruption during production. Managing spare part inventory. Provide effective maintenance schedule and coordination internally and externally. Conduct continuous improvement on machine performance. Quality Ensuring operational procedures are followed thoroughly, maintained and updated accordingly to avoid any product defects as well as to maintain safe operation. Monitor, assess and improve competencies and knowledge of workers through development of lesson module and internal training periodically. Evaluating materials and finished goods rejection rate in compliance to quality specification standard. Commit to all customer complaints and feedback. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Compliance with the SHE policies and requirements of the company. Cultivate good safety practices and environment. Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices while recommending methods to mitigate and improve. Others To undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or if deemed necessary for effective realization of the job purpose.
