Job Summary
Project Engineer who plays an active role in planning, executing, coordinating, monitoring and closing projects.Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute projects for various FFM Group and Associates factories within project constraints (budget, timeline and scope).
Assisting the Project Manager in liaising and following up closely with local operation teams to execute the projects in adherence to Group policies and standards.
Assisting the Project Manager in conducting feasibility studies and in preparing project proposals for management's approval.
Coordinate and attend project meetings with external parties like local authorities, consultants, vendors and contractors to facilitate the delivery of projects.
Perform technical and commercial evaluations on offers by contractors and vendors to recommend for management's approval.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Responsible in preparing progress reports for all projects and updating of project metrics in SAP system.
To perform any other relevant task and assignments as directed by management when necessary.Education & Qualification
Candidate must possess at least bachelor's degree in mechanical or Mechatronics or Electrical & Electronics or equivalent from recognized institute.Relevant Experience & Years of Service
Minimum 2 Years in project management or production plant maintenance and operations.Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
Knowledge in Food safety requirements.
Background in flour manufacturing is an added advantage.
Highly flexible and ability to learn fast.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Good technical reporting and presentation skills.
Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese literate is an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
