Job descriptions: Data Management, track and report on the progress of lab activities, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Generate reports and provide updates to management on lab capacity, utilization, and any bottlenecks. Evaluate the use of labor, equipment, and materials to ensure optimal utilization. Assess current lab capacity and forecast future demand to ensure that the lab can meet goals. Collaborate with the production team to create plans for scaling operations as necessary. Optimize the use of factory floor space, equipment, and workforce to meet demand efficiently. Collect and analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop reports and present findings to management, recommending actionable steps to improve productivity. Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain short-term and long-term demand forecasts using historical data and industry insights. Analyse data to identify patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement in demand planning accuracy. Utilize statistical forecasting models and software tools to create accurate demand projections. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy and provide insights for continuous improvement. Demand Planning Process Improvement, continuously review and improve demand planning processes, tools, and systems to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency. Implement process improvements to minimize errors in demand forecasting and inventory planning. Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in demand planning and incorporate them into company processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience in process improvement, manufacturing, or a similar environment. Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in simulation tools, and data analysis software. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills: Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies. Knowledge of automation systems and industrial equipment.
