Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Management of product sustaining activities which include driving product margin and performance improvement (yield, test time, quality, etc.) and cost reduction
Leveraging data analytics to manage and predict yield, set aggressive goal and plan to achieve yield improvement, cost reduction and continuity supply
Yield improvements involve day to day yield excursion triage that trip statistical yield control, implementation of correction action and preventive measures to avert yield loss while ensuring the highest quality of the products
Work with global team to drive root cause determination, material disposition and corrective action implementation through technical know-how, data analysis and controlled communication between the various stakeholders
This position requires direct liaison and collaboration across multiple worldwide functions including fab, test, design, planning, product engineering, device engineering, failure analysis, reliability, and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in EE or ECE or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience Product/Yield Engineering Role in wafer sort/ final test
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Exensio, or ACE).
Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, failure mechanisms, and manufacturing processes.
Wafer fabrication process knowledge.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Analog/Digital circuit design and test techniques
Knowledge of IC fabrication (BIPOLAR and CMOS), process technology, and device physics
Knowledge of various Failure Analysis techniques and methodologies
Experience with yield improvement methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
Experience with high-volume production environments.
