Involve directly and indirectly in plant audits (AIMS, IMS, ICA, AsCARE, etc.)
Monitor and control Reoccurrence Maintenance Expenses. Report on a monthly basis.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and investigation for equipment breakdown and incidents.
Involve in Continuous Improvement projects and activities in the plant, e.g., energy saving.
Ensure Spare Part management system is in place to avoid interruptions to plant production and safety. Follow the VIS process.
Execute and ensure plant projects follow the ATOGATE process and Isotarget requirements.
Execute Plant Turnaround safely, within budget and timeline.
Execute Maintenance activities following plant policy.
Ensure maintenance program is robust to reduce equipment breakdown and increase productivity.
Establish a program to replace aging equipment and upgrade plant facilities.
Take good care of all equipment in the plant.
Submit monthly reports and update KPIs scorecard on time.
Ensure training plan is in place and execute accordingly, especially on competency and certification.
Monitor Energy Performance Indicators (EPI) and project future energy consumption.
As a member of IMS and ISRS steering committee, continually contribute to improve the effective implementation and maintenance of the integrated management system without disrupting management standard certification, namely ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
Involve in HSE Committee to address issues pertaining to HSE and Security, ensuring mitigation measures are in place to prevent incidents or recurrence.
Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself and others, cooperate with superiors, wear or use personal protective equipment, and comply with health and safety instructions as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994, undertaking the following loss control responsibilities:
1. Identify potential hazards and possible improvements.
2. Report HSE near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to superiors.
3. Report HSE incidents and accidents to superiors.
4. Comply with policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, rules, and procedures of one's sector applying to HSE.
Establish Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment in the plant.
Ensure Contractor Management System is followed by the team and all contractors working inside the plant.
Update the Maintenance activity file and keep records up to date.
Maintain good record-keeping for inspection data (PMD, PMA, PMT) as per Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) requirements. Work collaboratively with HSE and Production teams.
Lead department's risk assessment & HAZOP follow-up actions and review effectiveness of control measures.
Ensure all meeting rituals are rigorously followed by team members.
Work collaboratively with Arkema Engineering team, APOC MI, etc.
Involve and support CSR programs.
Required ProfileDegree in Engineering with relevant working experience in chemical unit operations or at least 10 years of maintenance experience at a managerial level.
Strong knowledge in handling project requirements (with local authority, consultant, contractor, and vendor).
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Good managerial and leadership abilities.
Strong knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
Strong knowledge in maintenance programs, i.e., Preventive Maintenance Program and Project Management (Engineering/Civil & Construction), etc.
