Analyze current fabrication processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
Plan and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance through effective project management.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scopes, driving successful project outcomes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues during the fabrication process, providing timely solutions.
Provide technical guidance in the design, development, and execution of fabrication projects, leveraging expertise to drive success.
Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Stay updated on advancements in metal fabrication technologies and materials, applying knowledge to improve processes and products.
Work closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to align engineering goals with operational objectives, driving business results.
Assist in the development of new products and prototypes, ensuring manufacturability and feasibility.
Maintain accurate documentation of engineering processes, designs, and project progress, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in metal fabrication or a similar industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding, machining, and material properties.
Proven project management skills with experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
