Minimum Requirements:Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical discipline.
A minimum of 8 years working experience leading maintenance/process engineering teams in the manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated experience in successfully leading projects from concept to implementation including equipment selection, installation and validation, process development, and new product introduction.
Excellent command of both written and spoken Mandarin, English & Malay.
Possess good leadership, organizing skills, analytical skills, teamwork spirit, and a positive attitude.
Knowledge in ISO 9001 is an added advantage.
Ability to collaborate with managers in other departments.
Job Descriptions:Responsible for factory buildings, machinery, and facilities.
Responsible for maintenance, upgrades, and installation of new machinery, equipment, and facilities.
To source service providers/vendors, machines, spares, tools, and equipment.
Maintain proper maintenance records.
To lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians.
To support in the development of new products/processes in terms of design, engineering, process flow, technology, and delivery of specifications required.
Lead, train, and motivate the engineering team in developing continual process improvements and ensure implementation of processes to support the product development process.
Regularly monitor, update, and report on engineering project performances, progress, and analysis.
To produce and maintain all engineering process procedures and quality records of the department and act as liaison during any audit activities.
Work closely with the production team in upgrading or modifying existing plant equipment or machinery to enhance plant efficiency, productivity, and improve the working environment.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing process parameters to ensure the performance KPI is maintained and identify areas of improvement.
