Requirements: Candidate must possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 8 (Eight) years relevant working experience in continuous or batch chemical process manufacturing environment or any other related field with proven track record. Knowledgeable in electrical and instrument field is advantage.Strong technical knowledge, leadership and supervisory skills.Matured, analytical, self-starter and independent.Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and speaking) Responsibilities: Responsible for maximizing the availability of the plant machineries and providing technical solutions to increase the reliability of the whole system. Effectively, manage the stores and purchasing function.Oversee the total plant maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and infrastructural for the smooth operations.Monitor on a daily basis the plant engineering performance to ensure maximum availability of equipment.Plan, organize and execute on various engineering requirements from user departments.Plan schedule maintenance practice eg preventive/predictive and condition-based maintenance on equipment to reduce breakdown and increase reliability of plant machineries and utilities.Perform root cause analysis for all major breakdowns and formulate corrective and preventive action to avoid future recurrence.Monitor energy consumption throughout the plant in line with budgets and continuous improvement and innovation to reduce the consumption resulting in savings.Prepare monthly engineering report (R&M reports, utility consumption, capex progress) for Management's review. Monthly monitoring of R&M reports and stock inventories for the department to ensure consistent control and within budgets.Execute all approved CAPEXs by meeting the specifications, timelines and budgets and monitor the performance on the results.Review all engineering material requirements and providing technical guidance to procurement team for the correct purchase.Ensuring adherence on regulatory compliance to all relevant industry standard including ISO, DOSH, DOE and others.
