The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipmentOperate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.Analyze and record test results, an prepare written documentationPerforms operational test and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.Ability to perform equipment activities in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer.
Activities including assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes and/or electronics, completing engineering studies and validations.Follow Dexcom's Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program.This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.Perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements.Update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed.Able to use Hand and Power tools, Multimeters, Amp Meters, Manufacture test equipment, Calipers.
Required Qualifications:Typically requires a minimum of 4-8 years of related experience and Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specificationsAbility to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondenceAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managerKnowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.
Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development - Experienced in the creation and revision of technical documentation.
