Mechanical Design Engineer Internship role plays a pivotal role in supporting the design related activities for the products produced in VAT Malaysia.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities : Prepare 3D model, drawing and Bill of Material (BOM) for the assembly fixture and test fixture Assemble, verify and validate the design before releasing to production Prepare the technical document and work instructions Perform product trouble shooting, testing, data collection and reporting Support the design engineer for cost improvement projects Support test lab during product testing and qualification Minimum Qualification : Undergraduate that undergoing Degree in Engineering related field, Mechanical engineering discipline are preferred Final year student/fresh graduate of local/overseas institution with cumulative minimum CGPA 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent Able to prepare technical drawings Ability to work in a team and good communication skills, also in English, for cooperation with production and product management Experience in project management (structured working method) Enjoy working on strategic issues Strong analytical skills Solution-oriented Experience in change management Lean production knowledge VAT is an equal opportunity employer.
