English Teacher (Cambridge Igcse)

Job Overview- Responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills._Responsibilities and Duties- Transfer knowledge in an appropriate form.- Challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.- Identify learning needs of students and define appropriate learning objectives.- Ensure that content, methods of delivery and learning materials will meet the defined learning objectives.- Use appropriate teaching, learning support and assessment methods.- Design, develop and deliver a range of modules of study at various levels.- Supervise the work of students - including student projects, field trips and, where appropriate, placements - and provide advice on study skills and help them with learning problems.- Select appropriate assessment instruments and criteria and set, mark and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students.- Act as internal examiner for diploma/degrees.- Seek ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery and obtaining and analyzing feedback.- Identify areas where current provision is in need of revision or improvement.- Contribute to the planning, design and development of objectives and material.- Any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.Qualifications:- _At least 2 years of Experience in the related field is required_- _Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, and English_- _Willing to work in Seri Kembangan_- _Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and communication skills_- _Strong moral values and discipline_- _Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures_**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Seri Kembangan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
