JOB SUMMARY: onsemi is currently seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, reporting to Senior Manager Supplier Quality, who required to play a crucial role in managing projects for New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI). The primary responsibility will be to ensure that suppliers deliver high-quality products and processes on time, aligning with Onsemi's time-to-market requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project management for NPI/NTI: Supplier Development Engineer to ensure supplier deliver good quality product & process and in time to meet Onsemi time to market requirement.Quality improvement initiative for release products: Drive initiative in poor performing supplier to meet Onsemi quality expectation.Technical support & alignment with manufacturing site: Work closely with site to co-develop quality synergy. Perform Audit especially for new supplier Perform & coordinate Backend supplier quality risk management and drive improvement planQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering preferable material science.Expert level in supplier process and technology especially in Lead frame, tape & reel, ceramic, base plate, substrate, wire, die attach paste and glass commodity.Good material product knowledge and metrology for material testing & reliability test. Good understanding in semiconductor process for power module, sensor and discrete.Good Project management skills. Added advantage with IPMA or PMA certificate.Preferable with VDA6.3 and IATF auditor certificateExpert in problem solving skills. Added advantage with black belt six sigma skill.Good Negotiation and soft skills. Periodically rotating shift structure.
Shift working schedule: Day Shift : 6.00am – 6.00pm
Night Shift : 6.00pm – 6.00am
Overtime Rate: Overtime hours is any number of hours more than the normal hours of work completed per day.
For overtime on Ordinary Working Day and/or Off Day: rate of one and a half (1.5) times the hourly rate of pay;For overtime on Rest Day and Public Holiday: minimum of two (2) times the hourly rate of pay.Annual Leave: 13 working days on a prorated basis for less than 2 years of service.
