Environment, Health & Safety Executive (Urgent)About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Executive to join our team. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and sustainability of our glass manufacturing operations.
What you'll be doing
Assist EHS Manager in reviewing, developing, and implementing environment, health and safety policies and procedures and preparing/compiling Monthly / Quarterly / Half-Yearly / Yearly reports that comprise safety & health related updates analysis.
Assist EHS Manager in developing and conducting safety programs/activities and liaising with federal/local authorities (e.g., DOSH, DOE, BOMBA) regarding EHS matters.
Identify and make recommendations for corrective measures of any potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.
Investigate injuries and incidents of near misses/hazards, industrial accidents, and environmental incidents to determine their causes and preventive actions.
Monitor HACCP compliance and conduct worksite inspections and audits on safety, health, and environment as well as fire protection systems.
Effectively communicate and publish the EHS policies, procedures, and information (e.g., safety info, alerts, bulletins) to enhance employee awareness towards EHS.
Carry out daily safety walks and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS requirements (e.g., PPE, Permit to Work, procedures) and monitor high-risk activities performed in the plant by employees or external contractors.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
What we're looking for
Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Environment, Health & Safety role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
Proficient in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a culture of safety.
