We require an experienced Environmental Consultant with Department of Environment Malaysia registration as EIA Consultant or Assistant Consultant.
Job Scope:
To prepare environmental reports such as EIA, EMP, BIP and other related reports for submission to the Department of Environment Malaysia.
Must be familiar with environmental regulations and requirements of the Department of Environment in Malaysia.
To conduct required field work with the project team for environmental site investigations and baseline environmental monitoring, and work as a team to execute environmental studies.
To liaise with the project proponent and government agencies in the course of conducting the studies to prepare the relevant environmental reports.
To present report findings at technical meetings to obtain the necessary approvals either from government regulatory agencies or private sector clients.
Requirements:
Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in environmental issues.
Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with good written skills in both languages.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any science-related field; a postgraduate degree in the relevant field is advantageous.
