Responsibilities Assist in the development or coordinate the operationalization of an environmental management system, plan and programs by developing or updating the environmental manual, plan, procedures and programs in line with Company's HSE Policy, Strategic Objectives and Targets and PETRONAS Technical Standards & Guidelines Assist in the identification and management of environmental risk by coordinating the development or review of risk assessment report e.g.
EIA, ESA, environmental due diligence, facilitating environmental risk review session utilizing known tools e.g.
EAI, ENVID, and the updating of environmental risk registers to ensure full compliance with legal requirements, PETRONAS Technical Standards & Guidelines and industry best practices.
Participate in environmental compliance inspection, audit/assurance by conducting routine inspection, coordinating internal and external audit/assurance, and to follow through with assurance/audit findings until closure in order ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and effective management of environmental risk.
Execute environmental monitoring program and reporting by gathering, coordinating and tracking the measurement of environmental performance indicators, conduct analysis to identify trend and any systemic issue that will require development of intervention plan or program to ensure full compliance with legal requirements, PETRONAS Technical Standards & Guidelines.
Assist in the development or review of emergency response planning, procedure and incident investigation for environmental or other incident with environmental consequences, by gathering and coordinating information and resources, participating in emergency drill and inspection in order to verify that the plan and procedure are effective, fit for purpose and complies with legal requirements, PETRONAS Technical Standards & Guidelines.
Requirement Has minimum eight (8) years and above experience in any technical field subject to COMPANY requirement.
Ability to prepare, produce report, advise for any technical/non-technical.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, SAP ECC6 etc.
Excellent interpret drawing/sketch/diagram and excellent in managing time.
Degree in relevant field.
