Document Management & Display
- Display and store approved EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) reports and conditions at the project site office for reference and compliance.
Environmental Monitoring & Compliance
- Supervise erosion and sediment control measures according to ESCP, LD-P2M2 and EMP (Environmental Management Plan) documents.
- Maintain and update the site diary (Daily Log Book) for record-keeping.
- Assist on Scheduled Waste Management.
Daily Inspections
- Conduct daily inspections on pollution control measures, including BMPs (Best Management Practices) such as perimeter drains, check dams, silt traps, wash troughs, and slope protections.
Biweekly Site Meetings
- Organize biweekly meetings with project managers and contractors to discuss environmental management matters.
In-Situ Measurements
- Perform in-situ measurements of sediment turbidity at sediment control outlets, ensuring adherence to standards after rainfall events.
Good Housekeeping
- Implement and enforce the '5S' housekeeping practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean and organized site from project initiation through completion.
Additional DOE Requirements
- Fulfill tasks detailed in the EIA Guidelines in Malaysia (EGIM) by the DOE.
- Obtain necessary certifications, including:
-CESSWI(Certified Erosion Sediment and Stormwater Inspector) orCISEC(Certified Inspector on Sediment and Erosion Control).
-CePEOEIA(Certified Professional for Environmental Officer in EIA) certification for expertise in managing EIA-related requirements.
Notification of Ownership/Management Changes
- Report any project ownership or management changes to the DOE in writing within 30 days and ensure all EIA conditions are communicated to new stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
