Responsibilities:Implement and monitor OSH policies and SHE programs to ensure outcomes achieve the target level planned.
Provide instruction and advice on numerous safety issues (WAH, noise, machine safety) as required to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in conducting risk assessments for HIRARC and enforce the recommended mitigation actions to manage the risks identified.
Monitor changes in measures and update the legislation to ensure all policies comply with prevailing/current laws.
Conduct inspections of workplaces and premises to identify unsafe conditions or non-compliance. Intervene, take, and/or propose steps to prevent such situations.
Create safety awareness and conduct safety training (e.g., worker, ERT, contractor, visitor) to ensure the safety culture is adopted in the business.
Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc., to ensure the safety of the work, workplace, workforce, and environment.
Intervene and propose possible solution options that can improve the safety standards based on observation and/or monitoring.
Prepare reports and analyze workplace inspection findings from PIC to identify trends and/or sequences of events that can lead to unsafe acts.
Assist in monitoring and reporting environmental issues (e.g., water sampling, water effluent, water treatment, schedule waste management) to facilitate identification of root causes and mitigation actions required to address the concerns identified.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health/Environment or equivalent.
1 year of working experience in the relevant field.#J-18808-Ljbffr
