Environmental Sustainability Specialist ( GHG Accounting Executive) Responsibilities To manage, monitor and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.Have knowledge of GHG calculation methodologies and tools (ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, IPCC) to quantify the result.Have good understanding of concept related to GHS emission, carbon accounting approaches, standards and methodologies. Able to handle GHG (i.e. CO2) inventory calculation and reporting, and sustainability performance report.Ability to identify the emission sources and reduction opportunities (e.g. carbon credit, carbon neutrality, carbon negative)Ensure that evolving policies shall comply with existing global environmental legislation, selected UN Global Goals, EN14001, FSC, waste and garbage disposal, environmental hazards, ecosystems, energy consumption & CO2 accounting, water systems impact, pollution & emissions sustainability. Conduct theoretical & math-based research, literature review that increases management understanding of environmental issues and make practical and analysis-based recommendations.Review changes in ongoing environmental policies and convert this to company operations that would demonstrate and implement the company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact. Set guidelines for the new policy that suits the nature of company's activities and also commitment to ongoing improvement Requirements Bachelor Degree in Environmental Sciences/Studies, Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Statistic or any related field.Preferably with minimum 1 year experience in conducting GHG Accounting and knowledge of Reporting Principles.Research-skills and the ability to gather, analyse, calculate and report on the company's product portfolio's environmental data, from factory to end-user. Good research, analytical and statistical skills, and a natural desire to work with calculations that verify decisions and policy in a numeric way. Good interpersonal skill and ability to work efficiently and independently with minimum supervision.Proficient in English with good writing & presentation skill.
