Provide advice, information and instruction on local SHE issues.
Assist in the application of SHE procedures.
Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures.
Liaise with the head of departments and Safety & Health committee to plan out and carry out activities in line with Management objectives.
Review and analyze injury and incident reports and data.
Develop injury and incident prevention strategies for their area.
Monitor statutory compliance with SHE policy and procedures.
Audit local area SHE compliance with regard to risk, emergency and hazardous waste management.
Support in ISO & RBA activities.
Liaise with local authorities pertaining to reporting, auditing, etc.
Ensure compliance to FTM's ISO9001/14001 and 27001 policies and standards.
Ensure compliance to RBA policies and standards.
Any other reasonable task assigned by superior or management.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Diploma / Degree in any fields.
Min 5 years of relevant working experience in environment, safety and health field.
Registered Safety and Health Officer as Regulation 7, Occupational Safety And Health (Safety and Health Officer) Reg 1997.
Competent Person Certificate in scheduled waste management as Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 5.
Well-versed with OSH and Environment regulations/laws of Malaysia, RBA.
Able to lead a team to achieve the company objectives.
Able to communicate well in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to lead ERT team to achieve department and company goals.
Preferably with ISO14001 or RBA knowledge.
Able to work independently and with all levels of employees.
