About our group:Substrate Polish Equipment Support Group (ESG) focuses on monitoring and sustaining our KPI which are Yield, Equipment Repair & Maintenance Cost, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and equipment sustaining to ensure our performance meets company targets and customer specifications. We also put important focus on the Preventive Maintenance program. We control our KPIV and monitor KPOV to produce good quality products, to upkeep equipment condition and provide a great working environment to everyone.
About the role - you will:Support Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing team for sustaining related tasks
Attend and solve equipment issues related to equipment uptime, product quality, process OCAPs, and equipment OCAPs
Check and monitor the equipment KPIV and KPOV, act if encountering any abnormality
Perform equipment evaluation and improvement projects assigned by engineers such as equipment, yield, and product quality improvement
Ensure productivity achieves targets by reducing machine downtime and effectively troubleshooting issues at the production line
Ensure OEE targets are met by contributing to equipment uptime improvement when required
Adhere to EHS safety SOP and programs
About you:Preferably Diploma in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, control/automation). Certificate holders in the relevant Engineering fields with relevant working experience can be considered
Have excellent observational skills to identify any abnormality in equipment condition or failure
Willing to receive and implement continuous proposed improvement activities
Proficiency in the equipment used by the employer
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work on shift hours
Your experience includes:Working background and hands-on role in Preventive Maintenance Program (PM), Equipment Repair & Maintenance (Production Tool) or equivalent
Advance Knowledge on Pneumatic, Sensors, and Electrical parts would be an added advantage.
Equipment sustaining and engineering in manufacturing/production.
Machine troubleshooting, parameter setting, and machine qualification.
Basic Statistical tools and data analysis (7QC Tools).
Effective application of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
