Position Title: Events Planner (Corporate events - Team building) Reports to: Director
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and creative Events Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing a variety of events, including company events, company team building trips and company reward program trips. The Project Executive will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop project plans, and coordinate all aspects of event logistics, from venue selection and vendor management to on-site coordination and post-event evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, coordinate vendors and suppliers, manage event logistics, and oversee event set-up and breakdown.Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure that expenses are within budget limits.Venue Selection: Research, recommend, and select event venues that meet the client's requirements and budget constraints.Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, respond to client inquiries and requests, and manage client expectations throughout the planning process.On-site Management: Manage on-site event operations, including coordinating with vendors, managing event staff, and resolving any issues that arise during the event.Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders, including budget and schedule updates, and progress against established goals.Post-event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event, gather feedback from clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement.Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, business administration, marketing, or a related fieldMust possess own transportationMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning or a related fieldStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCreativity and attention to detailFlexibility and adaptability to adjust to changes in plans, unexpected problems, or last-minute requestsKnowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulationsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentIf you are someone who is excited about the intersection of technology and travel, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, then we would love to hear from you.
