EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & BUSINESS INTERPRETER (JAPANESE) DAIKIN ELECTRONIC DEVICES MALAYSIA SDN BHD (DAIKIN GROUP) JOB DESCRIPTION This role provides high-level administrative support to the General Manager but also facilitates communication and understanding between Japanese-speaking entities.Preparing detailed weekly reports and presentations.Acting as a liaison between the General Manager and various departments.Serving as the primary translator and interpreter between Japanese and English-speaking members.Assist GM & other members in the translation of technical documents, email correspondences, technical proposals, presentation slides, videos, meeting minutes, and administration work (from Japanese to English or vice versa).Involved in welcoming and assisting visitors from Japan, coordinating and managing logistics for visiting delegations, including scheduling meetings, and fostering positive relationships.Handling ad-hoc projects and assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment and other duties and tasks as assigned by GM or management from time to time. Reporting To: General Manager
Requirements Candidate must possess at least a degree in any related field.Must possess a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certificate at least level N2 or equivalent, or with a demonstrable level of at least 2 years working experience in a relevant field.Japanese expatriates who have similar working experience in Malaysia or local graduates from Japan University are encouraged to apply.Good personality and confident.Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks independently, accurately complete work under tight deadlines, and provide timely and accurate responses to data requests.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Flexibility for ad-hoc circumstances in the work environment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Able to multi-tasking effectively and able to work under pressure.Highly motivated, and self-driven with a strong focus on results.Applicant must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
