What you'll be doing Developing and implementing innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise and reflect the local flavours of SarawakEnsuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchenManaging and mentoring a team of chefs, providing guidance and training to maintain a cohesive and effective kitchen operationCollaborating with the management team to plan and execute special events, catering services, and other culinary initiativesMonitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and managing the kitchen budget effectivelyStaying up-to-date with industry trends and implementing best practices to continuously improve the culinary offeringsWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary roleProven track record of leading and managing a high-performing kitchen teamExceptional culinary skills and a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisine stylesProficient in menu planning, cost control, and inventory managementExcellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and motivate the kitchen teamPassion for using locally sourced ingredients and showcasing the unique flavours of SarawakCommitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
