Job Overview This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility, to monitor inventory levels and product movement, to control/isolate non-conforming product as defined by local work instruction and in conformance with client expectations and quality standards, ensuring a conforming product mix and facilitating efficient order fulfillment.
Job Responsibilities (duties / task) Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity, product identification and location program, researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections and managing the inventory control function at the site.
Overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations, tracking and reporting non-conforming product, resolving inventory problems in a timely manner, documenting and controlling aged, scrap & damaged product Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management/client and coordinate and integrate efforts across operations department to enhance inventory accuracy.
Must be able to pass the Stock Picker (SP) certification test and handle the unit on daily basis.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality systems, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify the implementation of the solutions.
Job Specification (qualification, experience, skills, attributes) Degree/Diploma holder in relevant disciplines.
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
Knowledge of warehouse management system and SAP would be an advantage.
Service oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills.
Stock Picker/ Forklift license holder.
