We have much room for improvement and many ideas that will further shape the industry.Executive, Cross Border (Control Tower) will not only ensure timely movement of Parcel from origin to destination country but also proactively coordinate with different parties including nominated 3PL/ brokers & customer's internal stakeholders to achieve the end goal of operational excellence. Besides, he/she will handles day to EXP/IMP operations, exception management, SAP transactions, payment to 3PL and brokers and provide consultancy on logistics/ supply chain related issues. In addition, oversee special fulfilment project and assist the project. ResponsibilitiesManagement and Development of Defined PortfolioPlan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs and core operation activities Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement Interpret trends and analyze and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available Business PartneringEnsure vendor / suppliers compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery People ManagementManage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements Set cross border fulfilment project objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required Process ImprovementsCreate and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics and fulfilment processRequirementsBachelor's DegreeExcellent communication skills, spoken and written2 to 5 years of experience in the cross border transportation or service industry. A progressive and proven track record of operation achievement.Prior experience in building and leading a operation team.Quality Management Certification holderExcellent verbal and communication skills. Able to produce and deliver quality presentations on a regular basis to key stakeholders
