Executive - Environmental, Occupational Safety and HealthA) Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health
• Providing understanding in promoting a safe work culture and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health.
• Conducting regular assessments or inspections, reporting non-compliance, and coordinating corrective or preventive actions.
• Developing training modules and conducting regular Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health awareness briefings.
• Monitoring accident investigation processes to ensure incidents are reported and investigated promptly.
• Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining statistics on accidents, hazardous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and occupational diseases.
• Updating new regulations and ensuring company operations comply with legal requirements such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, the Factories and Machinery Act 1967, and the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
• Identifying, monitoring, and controlling environmental, safety, and occupational health risks for the organization.
• Coordinating project management related to environmental, safety, and occupational health development.
• Liaising closely with enforcement bodies like the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE), and any other relevant enforcement agencies.
• Receiving instructions from management from time to time.
B) Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
• Developing the PSB Group Framework for sustainability commitments and material ESG issues, covering Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
• Monitoring the progress of ESG objectives, targets, and performance for ESG reporting.
• Overseeing and managing current sustainability practices and ESG recognition performance, identifying areas where practices can be improved and disclosed.
• Collaborating with the Corporate Communications Department in developing the company's ESG report.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
• Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field recognized by the Government.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in the plantation, construction, or health sector.
• Candidates with a Safety and Health Coordinator Certificate (OSH-C) will be given priority.
• Candidates with a Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM) certificate will be given priority.#J-18808-Ljbffr
