Assist Profit & Loss Management Unit in preparing accurate and timely MASB financial information and partnership with the business to achieve the management goals.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Responsible to perform month-end closing and to ensure all revenue are captured and accrued on timely basis.
Produce accurate monthly financial reports by airports.
Perform intercompany reports and do monthly reconciliation.
Assist in providing information for analysis purpose.
Ensure accuracy of financial information and reporting.
Process credit notes/debit notes request received from revenue generators/airports and to be approved as per Limit of Authority and prepare relevant report.
Implement as required all finance policies and procedures within the business unit to be in line with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Support in managing the flows of accurate and timely financial information between business unit, shared services and head office finance.
Assist in annual budget preparation and business plan.
Monitor revenue budget for all business areas, ensure revenues are valid and approved as per Limit of Authority.
Provide local audit support and provide relevant audit schedules and any other statutory requirements.
Assist in providing information to Jabatan Akautan Negara (JANM) for audit of MARCS PSC & User Fee.
Serve as an alternate committee member in performing financial evaluation for revenue & OPEX tender/quotation at Head Office.
Prepare relevant tax schedules for the computation of corporate income tax purposes.
Attend to ad-hoc report required by other stakeholders.
Attend to other tasks as required by the management from time to time, including assisting Executive (OPEX).
Provide support and assistance on financial matters (P&L) to Local Site Support (Finance representatives at MASB airports).
Involve in special finance project (e.g. GST, financial software upgrade), in providing input with regards to MASB operational matters.
To adhere to tight deadlines and to attend to request for information from internal & external parties.
To attend to queries from airports on any financial matters.

Able to handle pressure to meet tight deadlines set for closing of accounts and reporting to various stakeholders.
Good written and verbal communications with different levels of staff.
Experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with senior managers.
Computer literate especially in working with spreadsheets as reporting tools and support business decision making (budgeting, forecasting and modeling), exposure to using enterprise system e.g. SAP and able to prepare presentation slides to deliver key messages.
EducationExternal
Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance.
Relevant IndustriesDegree in Accounting with 3 years of related working experience in the same position.
At least 3 years of working experience in handling full sets of accounts.
Possess at least 3 years experience in preparing management report and analysis for review and decision making.
Professional Qualification (ICAA, ICAEW, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)).
