Job Title:Finance Executive
Job Type:Full time
Responsibilities:
Prepare various journal entries and perform various balance sheet accounts reconciliation like accruals, provision, prepayments, bank & cash and other accounts.
Work with other departments to obtain information for GL accounts reconciliation and resolve issues in ensuring appropriate level of accrual for month end closing.
Prepare and submit various monthly financial reports for management and corporate office that adhere to the company's accounting policies and procedures.
Assist with preparing various journal entries for overseas branch accounts as needed.
Assist with monthly bank reconciliation as needed.
Assist with year-end audit and other internal compliance audits.
Support and work with the accounting team on day-to-day activities especially on ad-hoc projects.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business studies with a minimum CGPA 3.0 or 2nd class upper or with a professional qualifications i.e., ACCA, CPA.
Minimum 2 years working experience in general accounting and financial management.
Proficient in accounting standards i.e., MFRS, IFRS is a must.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in using SAP system will be an added advantage.
Ability to prioritize workload and flexible to changing priorities.
