Key Responsibilities: - To ensure all accounting transactions are properly and completely accounted based on the accounting standards and Companies Act, 2026To ensure and maintain proper records and filing system in an orderly and organised manner and to comply with statutory requirement, and internal policies and procedures, for tax, audit and other legal procedures which are relevant to Group Finance Department.To perform month-end closing of the management accounts including preparation of various entries, and recording of monthly entries (prepayments, accruals, etc) ensuring the proper cut-off procedures as necessary.To perform bank reconciliations on a timely basis and ensure correct bank balances are reflected in accounting books through bank entries postings, such as bank charges, interest expense/income.To perform intercompany balance reconciliation checking to ensure all the intercompany balance are correct.To prepare SST return to the Customs Office within the stipulated deadline.To liaise with appointed accounting firm/external auditors/internal auditors for all accounting/auditing matters. Liaise with Customs/LHDN/bankers for related matters.To prepare monthly Financial Performance Reporting of UMPH & Group.To prepare monthly ageing report of UMPH & Group.To handle daily transactions (payment & receipts) and prepare monthly management account of Spin-Off companies (Synbion, UMP Renalcare and UMP Keraglow.To assist the Vice President, Group Finance on the preparation and completion of financial and accounting reports, budgets, analyses and papers.To perform other ad-hoc assignments as instructed by the superior from time to time. Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of experience in financing/accounting.Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Strong commitment to the principles of good corporate governance and sound financial management.Demonstrate strategic thinking capability.Attention to details and perform work with accuracy.
