Job Title : Finance Executive
Location : Empire City, Damansara

Department : FinanceKey Responsibilities :1. Financial Record Keeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including cash & bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and journal entries.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and expenses.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all financial records are complete in a timely manner.
2. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Generate various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analysis.
Provide financial analysis and insights to management to support strategic decision-making and planning.
3. Accounts Payable and ReceivableManage accounts payable processes, including processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments, coordinating with the sales and customer service teams as necessary.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances to ensure accuracy and completeness with external stakeholders statements of accounts (SOA).
4. Financial Systems and ProcessesUtilize accounting software and financial systems effectively to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain data integrity.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to financial processes.
Qualifications & Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred but not required.
2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, particularly in retail or related industries.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
