Qualifications & experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/ Civil) or Facilities Management.Registered with Board of Engineer (BEM) as Graduate Engineer.Added advantage: Fire safety control certificate, AutoCAD certificate and CIDB green card holder.Minimum 3 years of working experience in building maintenance/ facilities management/ fire safety industry.Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting Emergency Response Team/ fire safety training. Tasks & responsibilities Execute and ensure the implementation of scheduled preventive maintenance (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive repair maintenance (Rapid Response Maintenance) activities for the building's M&E systems in accordance with the agreed instructions and scope of work.Develop and plan deferred maintenance programs (Forward Maintenance Program) and allocate necessary budgets for building infrastructure and M&E systems that are damaged, have reached the end of their lifespan, or require upgrading or replacement.Review documents, schedules, diagrams, technical drawings, reports, and proposals related to operations and maintenance submitted by relevant parties.Facilitate smooth coordination with all relevant parties through meetings, discussions, and feedback to resolve issues within the agreed-upon timeframe.Supervise administrative assistants involved in operations and maintenance activities, ensuring that tasks are carried out according to established regulations and work processes.Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Floor Warden requirements, including necessary equipment and related training.Plan and execute regular building evacuation drills in accordance with the requirements of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department to ensure compliance with the Fire Certificate (FC).Ensure that the building's fire support systems are fully functional when activated and are maintained regularly.Ensure that records of fire approval plans, fire risk assessments, safety and evacuation protocols, inspections, and incident reports are complete and regularly updated.Implement and ensure the management of activities related to the leasing of office space and facility areas within the building, support facility services related to building cleaning, pest control, security, and parking management, in accordance with the agreed contract and scope of services.
